Pat and I acquired our first doberman over 6 years ago. Pat had mentioned he has always loved dobermans so for a wedding gift I searched around until I found the right breeder for us, and put a deposit down for a male puppy. That's when Damon sprung into our lives and got us hooked, we have never looked back. He was intended to be our companion and when his breeder (Kim Boucher of Jurassik Dobermans) told us that she felt he was show quality and wanted him to be shown I thought "no problem, it won't be that hard". Little did I know that it is way harder than it looks, and the show world would hook me the minute I walked through the door.
Ever since Damon completed his championship I have wanted to enter the world of showing myself. I am excited to continue my journey with our new puppies from our first litter. We are definately on a life long adventure into the doberman world.
I am currently improving and working on being an owner/handler in the conformation ring and am training/trialing in obedience and really enjoying it. Pat is hoping to join in on the obedience training soon also.
We believe dogs should be lifelong family members. We feel that all dogs we own or place as puppies should be part of the family and have their lives enriched as much as they enrich ours. We strive to do that daily.
We are proud members of the Alberta Doberman Pinscher Club, Doberman Pinscher Club of Canada , Doberman Pinscher Club of America and the Canadian Kennel Club.
"I think dogs are the most amazing creatures; they give unconditional love. For me they are the role model for being alive."
